Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in The Liberation Chapter retreat, taking place 5–8 November 2026 at House of Inquiry, Mijas Hills, Málaga, Spain ("the Retreat"). Please read them carefully before booking.

1. The Organisers

The Liberation Chapter is jointly delivered by Lead4Agility Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 15116516) and Create Impact (Dr Katharina Sell, VAT number ESY7606087R, registered in Spain) — together, "the Organisers," "we," or "us." Retreat content, facilitation, and programming fees are invoiced by Katharina Sell as a Spanish autónoma. Accommodation at House of Inquiry is paid directly to House of Inquiry, and is not covered by these Terms or by the Organisers.

2. Booking, Payment & Cancellation

The Retreat fee is €1,975 and covers content, facilitation, programming and meals. A deposit of €500 is required to confirm your place, payable at the time of booking; the remaining balance of €1,475 is due no later than 30 September 2026, five weeks before the Retreat begins. If the balance is not received by this date, we reserve the right to release your place to another participant. Full payment details will be provided upon registration.

Should your plans change, the following applies:

  • More than 5 weeks before the Retreat (before 30 September 2026): you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, excluding the deposit.

  • Between 3 and 5 weeks before the Retreat (30 September – 15 October 2026): you will receive a 50% refund of all amounts paid, excluding the deposit.

  • Less than 3 weeks before the Retreat (after 15 October 2026): no refund is given.

  • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable in all circumstances.

In every case, you have the possibility to transfer your payment (including the deposit) to join our next Liberation Chapter retreat, or to transfer your place to another participant of your choosing, subject to that person meeting our registration requirements. We recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, in addition to the medical and repatriation cover required under the Participation Agreement. None of the above covers accommodation paid directly to the House of Inquiry, which is subject to their own booking and cancellation terms.

3. Changes & Cancellation by the Organisers

We may make reasonable changes to the schedule, facilitators, or activities where necessary; this will not affect your fees. If we need to cancel the Retreat entirely due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to a facilitator's illness, extreme weather, travel disruption, or disruptions at the venue — we will offer you, at our discretion, either a full refund of all fees paid to Create Impact (including your deposit) or a place on a rescheduled retreat date. This does not cover any travel, accommodation, or other costs booked separately with third parties, including House of Inquiry.

4. Health, Participation & Assumption of Risk

The Retreat includes somatic and embodied practices that may involve physical movement, emotional processing, and extended periods of reflection or silence. By booking, you confirm that you are physically and psychologically able to take part, and that you have disclosed any relevant health conditions during registration. A separate Participation Agreement must be reviewed and signed before attendance; your participation is conditional on its completion.

The Retreat is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing an active mental health crisis, or have been advised by a medical professional against intensive somatic work, please do not attend without prior written clearance from the Organisers.

5. Group Size & Suitability

To preserve the Retreat's intimate, relational format, places are limited to between 8 and 12 participants. The Organisers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to decline or withdraw a booking where participation is deemed unsuitable for the group's safety or well-being. In such cases, any fees paid, including the deposit, will be refunded.

6. Code of Conduct

By attending, participants agree to engage respectfully with fellow participants, facilitators, and House of Inquiry staff throughout the Retreat. This includes refraining from any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour; respecting the physical and emotional boundaries of others, including their right to pause or withdraw from any activity; using alcohol, if at all, responsibly and never during somatic or embodied sessions; and not bringing or using illegal substances at the Retreat.

The Organisers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to remove a participant from the Retreat with immediate effect for a serious or repeated breach of this Code. In such circumstances, no refund will be due, and the participant will be responsible for arranging and funding their own return travel.

7. Photography, Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

Photography or video may be taken during the Retreat for archival and promotional purposes. You will be asked to confirm your photo and video preferences as part of registration and may opt out at any time by notifying the Organisers in writing.

What is shared by fellow participants during the Retreat is confidential. Participants agree not to disclose others' personal stories or identities outside the group without their explicit consent. All retreat materials, curriculum content, and any recordings made by the Organisers remain the Organisers' property; participants may not record, reproduce, or distribute retreat content without prior written consent.

8. Eligibility & Language

The Retreat is open to participants aged 18 and over. It is conducted in English, and participants should be comfortable engaging in group discussion and somatic practice instructed in English.

9. Invoicing & Tax

Retreat content, facilitation, and programming fees are invoiced by Katharina Sell as a Spanish self-employed individual (autónoma); Lead4Agility Ltd is registered in the United Kingdom. If you require a specific invoice format for expense or tax purposes, please contact us before booking to confirm this can be accommodated.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organisers' liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the Retreat is limited to the fees paid for retreat content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The Organisers are not liable for accommodation, travel, or any services provided directly by House of Inquiry or other third-party suppliers. The Organisers hold public/civil liability insurance in connection with the Retreat; details are available on request. The existence of this insurance does not extend or alter the limitations of liability set out in this clause.

11. Data Protection

Personal data collected during booking is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website, and in compliance with applicable UK and EU data protection law.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern about a facilitator, another participant, or any aspect of the Retreat, please raise it with us directly and as soon as possible while the Retreat is underway. If that isn't possible, you can put it in writing to jvp@lead4agility.com. We will acknowledge written complaints within 14 days and aim to respond in full within 28 days. Making a complaint does not affect any of your other legal rights.

13. Governing Law, Severability & Entire Agreement

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any disputes arising from them or from participation in the Retreat are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Together with the Participation Agreement and Privacy Policy, these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Organisers regarding the Retreat, and supersede any prior discussions or representations.

14. Contact & Updates

Questions about these Terms, bookings, or the Retreat generally can be directed to jvp@lead4agility.com. We will note any material changes to these Terms here, including the date and a brief summary, alongside the "last updated" date below.
